Using the Graphic Version
These instructions are written under the assumption that you're looking for your own name. These instructions apply if you're looking up someone else's name as well.
Find your name on the list (find a link to the list at the end of these instructions) and click it.
If you’re related by blood, adoption or are a stepchild of a blood relation, you will be taken to a page showing you, your parents and siblings. Click here to see a sample page.
If you’re spouse is a blood relation you will be taken to a page showing you, your spouse and children. Click here to see sample a page.
Whichever page you come to you can work your way backward by clicking Previous Generation. For example, if you’re related by blood, adoption or are a stepchild you will come to a page showing you, your parents and siblings. Clicking Previous Generation will take you to a page showing your blood-related parent, his/her siblings and his/her parents (your grandparents). From there, clicking Previous Generation will take you to a page showing your blood-related grandparent, his/her siblings and his/her parents (your great grandparents). Continue this process until you come to the page showing Josiah A. Towle, Alice Mae Judson and their children and you will know your connection.
When you find your name you can also move forward. If you’re related by blood, adoption or are a stepchild, click Next Generation by your name and you will come to a page showing you, your spouse and children. Clicking Next Generation by any of your children's names will take you to a page showing that child, his/her spouse and your grandchildren.
If you’re spouse is a blood relation you will move forward from the page showing you, your spouse and children.
If Next Generation does not appear next to a name where it should, then that information is missing. Click Add/Correct Information here or on any page to send me that information.
If you see any missing, incorrect or incomplete information on any page, and you have that information, click Add/Correct Information so I can include it.
If anyone has been married more than once there will be links to the other marriages.
