How to Share a Family Recipe
For me, part of growing up was
family gatherings. Part of family gatherings involved
meals, especially around holidays and special events. My mother
had several recipes that we repeatedly enjoyed throughout the
years. My grandmother and my aunts had some too. I've
also collected some of my own over the years. These family
gatherings and favorite recipes are part of our collective
experience.
Along with Family Stories I want to preserve some of these recipes in a forum for others, especially family and friends, to enjoy.
On each page within this web site you'll find an I Have a Recipe to Share link. If you have a recipe to share, either one you found or created yourself or one passed down from a relative click on this link. You'll be taken to a form where you can write your recipe and some other related information. After you fill it out click the Submit button at the end of the form and it will be sent to me. When I receive it I'll send you a confirmation that I received it and place it in the web site where it can be read and enjoyed.
